Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, provide security features, and remember your preferences. This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Daimenu uses and why.
How We Use Cookies
Daimenu uses essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to function and limited first-party analytics cookies to measure basic platform usage. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and advertising personalization are disabled. We do not track you across other websites.
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for authentication and security. Without them, you cannot log in or use the platform's core features. They cannot be disabled.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| access_token | Authenticates your current session. Contains an encrypted token that verifies your identity with each request. | 15 minutes |
| refresh_token | Maintains your login session. Used to securely renew your access token without requiring you to log in again. | 7 days |
Both authentication cookies are HTTP-only (not accessible to JavaScript), Secure (transmitted only over HTTPS), and SameSite=Lax (protected against cross-site request forgery). They are automatically removed when you log out.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate page usage and improve the reliability of the customer platform. Query strings, URL fragments, and credential-bearing URL segments are removed before page locations are sent. Google Analytics is not configured with authenticated user IDs or account profile fields.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| client_ga | Distinguishes pseudonymous visitors for basic usage measurement. | Up to 2 years |
| client_ga_Q29Q48XDES | Maintains the pseudonymous Google Analytics session state. | Up to 2 years |
Third-Party Services
Some features on our platform use third-party services that may set their own cookies or use similar storage technologies:
- Google Maps - used for delivery address selection and map display. Google may set cookies for map functionality and security. See Google's cookie policy at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
- Google Analytics - used for basic page and session measurement with advertising features disabled. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Stripe - used for secure online payment processing (card, Google Pay, Apple Pay). Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention and payment security. See Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com/cookie-settings.
- Cloudflare Turnstile - used for bot protection on login and registration. Cloudflare may use cookies or browser storage to verify you are a real user. See Cloudflare's cookie policy at cloudflare.com/cookie-policy.
These third-party cookies are set directly by the respective services and are subject to their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control the content or behavior of third-party cookies.
Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. The exact steps vary by browser - consult your browser's help documentation for instructions.
Please note that disabling or deleting our essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the platform. The platform requires these cookies to function.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change our cookie practices or when required by law. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
